Breakfast and After School Clubs
Wrap-around Care at Beck
At Beck we offer pay-as-you-go wrap-around care before and after school to support working parents. Our Breakfast and After-school Clubs are both run by school staff and operate from the dining room.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club runs from 8am Monday to Friday and costs £3 a day. Priority is given to working parents to support with childcare.
At Breakfast Club, children can have cereal and/or toast as well as milk to drink. The club is supervised by school staff and a range of games are available for children to play.
Beck is supported by the National School Breakfast Programme (NSPB), providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn. NSBP provides Beck with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons. Children must be booked into Breakfast Club before attending. Please call the school office on 0114 2467536 to book your child’s place.
Aside from breakfast club, we provide ALL children with toasted and buttered bagels from our school kitchen which are delivered to the classrooms every morning. Here at Beck we are committed to ensuring that no child is too hungry to learn.
After School Club
After School Club is available every school day at Beck from the end of the school day until 6pm. The cost is £8.00 per child. Children are collected from their classrooms at the end of the day by school staff and are cared for in the Dining Room. They receive a snack such as a sandwich and fruit and have a range of games and activities to play.
Children must be booked into After School Club before attending. Please call the school office on 0114 2467536 to book your child’s place.
If your child attends both breakfast club and after-school club every day, we are able to offer this at a reduced cost of £50 per child per week.
